If there was ever a winter in Singapore, this 2014-2015 transition must have been the closest we’ve ever gotten. Meet our very own howling, freezing winds that make me want to curl up in bed with a hot cup of Milo and ten hours of TV. This is NOT, by my standards, the best time of the year to be out there, you know…In The Wilderness. But apparently there’s a whole camp of people who find it very lo-man-tick to marry in snow. I don’t know, maybe the cold has seeped in too far and brought out the polar bear in them. I saw a bunch of those lo-man-tick photos and many were real pretty, like these two:
Just can’t help but go aawww right? But being a pragmatic, comfort-oriented Singaporean, this was the photo that really tugged at my heartstrings:
All together now, AAWWW! Lo-man-tick AND practical. Now that’s the way to do a wedding!
My winter wedding photo itch was barely scratched so I continued my hunt for more memorable images. Weddings should be lo-man-tick, certainly but they CANNOT not be fun because they are the harbingers of Married Life, that Thing that you know…lasts FOREVER. What a bad omen! So check out these images of snowy winter fun:
If you haven’t had enough (I know you haven’t), here are some cute winter wedding cake toppers!
And finally, The Cake you must have in a winter wedding:
